The Ceremony
On November 28, 2026, we will be saying our vows right beneath the Mantayupan Falls, the tallest waterfall in Cebu soaring 98 meters high. Mantayupan Falls is located in the Municipality of Barili, where the bride, Shara, grew up. The area is known for its two-tier cascade of water and the cool mountain air that surrounds the falls. The cliffs and greenery create a natural, impressive backdrop, making Mantayupan Falls one of Southern Cebu’s most recognizable landmarks. It’s a simple location that reflects both the beauty of Barili and the place Shara calls home.
The Reception
Reception will be held at JDM Bougainvillea Paradise; it's a spacious bougainvillea garden opened in 2024 and known as one of the largest bougainvillea collections in Cebu. We have reserved the entire open-air, cross-shaped pavilion, and guests are free to explore the expansive gardens throughout the celebration. Within the grounds are playgrounds, koi ponds, and a variety of exotic animals.
