The Ceremony
On November 28, 2026, we will be saying our vows right beneath the Mantayupan Falls, the tallest waterfall in Cebu soaring 98 meters high. Mantayupan Falls is located in the Municipality of Barili, where the bride, Shara, grew up. The area is known for its two-tier cascade of water and the cool mountain air that surrounds the falls. The cliffs and greenery create a natural, impressive backdrop, making Mantayupan Falls one of Southern Cebu’s most recognizable landmarks. It’s a simple location that reflects both the beauty of Barili and the place Shara calls home.
The Reception
The celebration will be held at Severa Boutique Resort in Carcar City. We have reserved the entire pool pavilion area, an open, roofed structure beside the pool that provides plenty of shade and space for dining, games, and the program. Severa is a spacious resort with complete amenities, featuring a swimming pool, beachfront access, and a garden surrounded by lush greenery. It offers a relaxed, private atmosphere where our guests can enjoy the breeze, explore the grounds, and celebrate comfortably after the ceremony.
